Recognition

U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals” ranks ٺƵ the No. 2 hospital in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery.

Tests we perform onsite include the following:

  • abdominal ultrasound to screen for aortic aneurysm
  • blood pressure monitoring
  • cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) to evaluate the way blood moves through the heart
  • carotid ultrasound to look for blockages in the arteries of the neck
  • cholesterol and lipid level testing
  • Coumadin® level monitoring
  • electrocardiography to measure the electrical activity in the heart
  • electrophysiology consults and follow-up exams
  • event monitoring and Holter monitoring to analyze heart rhythm
  • exercise and pharmacological stress testing to evaluate how your heart responds to exertion
  • nuclear (thallium) stress testing that uses radioactive dye to create images of your heart during exertion

Your doctor evaluates your test results and talks with you about your family history and overall health. He or she then develops a treatment plan based on your specific needs.
