Our Approach to Treating

Neurofibromatosis

The ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Comprehensive Neurofibromatosis Center offers family-centered care for children and adults with neurofibromatosis type 1, neurofibromatosis type 2, and schwannomatosis. Our physicians also strive to discover better and safer treatments through laboratory research and clinical research, including clinical trials, both at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ and in collaboration with other leading institutions. Our neurofibromatosis doctors collaborate with other specialists and have access to state-of-the-art services at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ, including imaging tests and laboratory and pathology diagnostic services.

Some of the support services available at our center include child life and music therapy, massage therapy, and consultations with social workers, financial counselors, occupational and physical therapists, and neuropsychologists. Additionally, our clinic hosts monthly support group sessions and annual educational meetings for people with neurofibromatosis and their families.
