About Me
As a neuropsychologist at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ, I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact in my patients’ lives by addressing cognitive and brain related concerns. I believe in getting to know the whole person, considering their childhood, culture, and individualized goals to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their unique needs. My passion for understanding how the brain works, and the challenges that can impair its function, drives my commitment to providing effective care.
I specialize in working with adults who have a range of cognitive or brain related conditions, including developmental disorders such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, and learning disorders. Additionally, I treat patients who have experienced stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and other neurodegenerative diseases. With extensive training and years of experience in neuropsychological evaluation, I conduct thorough assessments that encompass academic and occupational history, mood concerns, and cognitive functioning to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations.
Throughout my career, I have focused on helping patients manage memory, attention, and organizational difficulties by developing practical strategies tailored to their needs. I also assist adults in identifying relevant academic or employment accommodations to support their success. When necessary, I refer patients to other specialists, such as neurologists and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care. I take pride in my ability to coordinate care across disciplines, fostering strong partnerships with other providers to enhance patient outcomes.
My journey into psychology was inspired by a desire to interact with people and make a difference in their lives. I was always fascinated by the brain and its complexities, which led me to pursue a career where I could address cognitive challenges and provide effective care. My educational background and experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support my patients in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life.
