As a pulmonologist at �ٺ���Ƶ, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to my patients. I specialize in managing airway diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), with a focus on reducing the risk of symptom flare-ups. I am also a strong advocate for lung cancer screening and frequently see patients with abnormal CT scans. Additionally, I manage infectious diseases like pneumonia, bronchitis, and non-tuberculous mycobacteria.

I am fortunate to be part of the faculty at �ٺ���Ƶ Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates, where I collaborate with experts in radiology, microbiology, oncology, and rehabilitation. This collaborative approach allows for coordinated and seamless care, enhancing the patient experience and fostering an atmosphere of expertise and hope.

My interest in pulmonology began in childhood after I experienced tuberculosis, which sparked a fascination with the complexity and vital functions of the lungs. My philosophy of care is deeply rooted in the values instilled in me by my father, a physician, and my mother, a nurse. They taught me the importance of empathy, the power of healing, and the need to help others. I strive to treat my patients as family, fostering an honest and open approach that encourages patients to ask questions and actively participate in their care and decision-making.

With over 50 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I have been honored to receive the Distinguished Service Award from NYU Grossman School of Medicine, recognizing my outstanding service and commitment to the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, as well as to our fellowship training programs.
