For the eighth time in a row, inpatient locations in New York City and on Long Island earned 鈥淎鈥 grades.
NYU Langone Health has once again earned national recognition for its commitment to quality and patient safety, consistently earning an 鈥淎鈥 on every Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade since the fall of 2020.
The top grade extends to Tisch Hospital and Kimmel Pavilion in Manhattan, 嘿嘿视频 Hospital鈥擫ong Island, and 嘿嘿视频 Hospital鈥擝rooklyn, which remains the only hospital in the borough with an A rating. It is the eighth consecutive time these inpatient facilities have earned the highest safety score.

The Leapfrog Group, an independent national watchdog organization, publishes its safety scorecard twice every year, assigning A through F letter grades to eligible hospitals across the country. The grade is based on a hospital鈥檚 performance in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections, and other harms to patients. It was developed under the guidance of a national expert panel, using up to 30 national performance measures of publicly available hospital safety data.
嘿嘿视频 consistently earns top quality and safety scores from other national agencies, including being named the No. 1 hospital in the nation for quality and patient safety by Vizient Inc., appearing on U.S. News & World Report鈥檚 鈥淏est Hospitals Honor Roll,鈥 and earning five stars for safety, quality, and patient experience by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
