Our Services

Pediatric Rehabilitation Services

We provide the treatments and services that help children address physical and emotional challenges.

After an illness or injury, children sometimes need help regaining physical strength, mobility, or skills. Children with developmental disorders may require ongoing therapy to help them achieve their full potential.

VIDEO: Experts and families discuss what sets our pediatric rehabilitation services apart.

For these children, an important part of medical care includes rehabilitation therapy that focuses on the way their bodies move, the way their minds process information, and the way they interpret and create sound. Rusk Rehabilitation physiatrists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation nurses, and speech–language pathologists provide these outpatient services for children at numerous Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Our pediatric rehabilitation team is supported by child life specialists, creative arts therapists, horticultural therapists, recreation therapists, social workers, and experts in integrative medicine who provide the additional care your child needs to deal with the social and emotional aspects of recovery.
