Ms. Ramos, who is continuing to do well with her cancer under control, has remained on the immunotherapy regimen, says her oncologist Franco M. Muggia, MD, a professor in the and a member of Perlmutter Cancer Center.
Sylvia Adams, MD, a professor of medicine and director of the Breast Cancer Center at Perlmutter Cancer Center, tells SurvivorNet, 鈥淭he trial treatment was very successful for Maribel, and she continues on the same immunotherapy regimen indefinitely, without the chemotherapy component.鈥
