A new targeted therapy called Tabrecta has been shown to slow or stop the growth of cancer cells in people with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Salman R. Punekar, MD, a medical oncologist at 嘿嘿视频 Health鈥檚 Perlmutter Cancer Center, tells SurvivorNet that while anyone can get lung cancer, current and former smokers are most at risk for NSCLC, which accounts for 84 percent of all lung cancers.
