On ܲݲ’s Doctor Radio Reports, Robert I. Grossman, MD, chief executive officer of ٺƵ Health and dean of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, explains the importance of having a hospital dedicated to children’s health and the commitment of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at ٺƵ to providing excellent care for children and their families.
“In support of exceptional medical and surgical care, we recognize the future for children’s health requires a bold focus on many services and approaches that surround this excellence in clinical care in order to do our best for children and their families,” says Dr. Grossman. “In support of this vision, Sala Institute for Child and Family Centered Care was created in 2013 to deliver programs and services to improve child and family resilience, family engagement, and enhanced quality and patient safety to support and integrate with our clinical teams and programs.”
Dr. Grossman was joined by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his wife, Barbara, founders of the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation.
