Diabetes Care at 嘿嘿视频
嘿嘿视频鈥檚 Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Health is dedicated to helping people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes manage their condition and prevent complications that can affect their health and quality of life.
The Center鈥檚 multidisciplinary care team is led by an endocrinologist who works closely with diabetes educators, nutritionists, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient.
Clinical collaborations and standardized protocols are constantly developed and implemented across 嘿嘿视频 sites and programs to help treat diabetes patients at all points throughout their healthcare journey. For example, to address an often overlooked patient population, Dr. Golden and the Center鈥檚 team will work alongside Mary Pat Gallagher, MD, director of the Robert I. Grossman, MD, and Elisabeth J. Cohen, MD, Pediatric Diabetes Center, to develop a program addressing the transition of care for pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes as they enter adulthood.
To further enhance care, diabetes patients at 嘿嘿视频 also have access to and cutting-edge research. Other programs and centers available to patients include the Diabetes Prevention Program, the Weight Management Program, the Diabetes Foot and Ankle Center, and the Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease.
