It is one of the most common cancers affecting men in the United States, but prostate cancer doesn鈥檛 always show symptoms in the earliest stages. This is why screening is so important, says James S. Men should look out for urinary changes such as frequent urination or bladder control difficulty and discuss them with their doctor. Other symptoms to pay close attention to include blood in the urine or ejaculate. It is important to understand that these signs can be caused by prostate cancer or other unrelated issues.
