We are used to seeing disaster here, but this is our first pandemic, Dr. Goldberg tells MarketWatch. We are learning from seeing more patients every day. We are constantly re-evaluating our protocols. The sheer volume of sick, respiratory patients, its something weve never confronted before.
But Dr. Goldberg and his colleagues still find opportunities to go out of their way for their patients, including meeting a family member outside the hospital to help deliver a phone to an isolated patient.
